Der Hamburger Club Baalsaal überzeugt mittlerweile auch mit wirklich guten Platten. Hatikvah hat hier allerdings nichts mit der israelischen Nationalhymne zu tun, wohl aber mit der Übersetzung „Hoffnung“. Die Stücke sind allesamt sehr nachdenklich, äußerst deep, dubbig und mit der immer wieder gern gehörten Stimme von Florian Schirmacher bestückt. Efdemin reiht sich mit seinem Remix in das Soundgefüge ein und wandelt die düstere Originalstimmung in eine weitgedehnte Reise, zu der ich mir stundenlang alte X-Mix Videos anschauen könnte. Das Groovemonster schlechthin ist allerdings der Preocoop Remix, der kaum von Coolness übertroffen werden kann. Da wünscht man sich sofort eine große Anlage, um die Bässe auf der Haut spüren zu können. Moderne Zeiten können hoffnungsvoller nicht sein!

Is there a black Man singing? Florian has studied Church Music, after having success with Glowing Glisses ( Poker Flat ) and Pantytec ( Perlon) and he does living with the joy of Gospel and House Music.
